Dr. Michael A. Dirr unveiled Dirr's Tree and Shrub Finder at the 2011 National Green Centre. Attendees saw it on the runway of the Sweet Melissa Fashion Show: the trendiest new plants (and apps for iPhones!) in horticulture.

He presented a keynote address on Making Sense of the New Plant Clutter: Strategies for Successfully Marketing Trees and Shrubs in addition to leading two panel discussions, one on Growers' Branding Strategies and one on Horticulture in 2060.
