Applied Ecological Services: website
Will have a green roof display featuring vegetated green roof trays planted with native plants to demonstrate the benefit of using a green roof compared to a conventional roof. The display will demonstrate how well natives work in a green roof system. AES will also feature a native-plant identification display where attendees will be able to see, feel, smell, taste, and indentify some of the most sustainable seeds and plants in the region. Additionally, AES will have a display detailing innovative and sustainable stormwater designs and techniques that are used currently by AES designers to correct complex stormwater issues.
Will set up Ball Bio-packaging Compost Demo: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
Simple but graphic, Ball will demonstrate the progression of bio-degradation, over a period of three months, of three of its horticulture bio-packaging products: OP47BioTM and SoilWrap pots and PLA trays. During this period more than 150 pounds of bio-packaging material resident in an actively managed industrial compost pile was reduced to water, carbon dioxide and microbial metabolites. Our visitors will be able to examine the series of samples removed during the course of the composting process.
Will be presenting their Container Grown Christmas trees as a Live Sustainable way to celebrate Christmas. It serves two purposes: as a Christmas Tree and Landscape Tree.
Will be setting up a deck to demonstrate the new Rail Rockit - "Just Rock it to Lock It" - place pots in it, hang bird feeders from it, etc. They'll also show off the easy-fill Handy Stand for bird feeders. Just lift the handle, lay it down and fill it up - all ages can do it. Songbird Essentials - recycled bird feeders, as well as "Seed Hoop" - a product that catches spilled bird seed and seed hulls so it doesn't make a mess on your lawn also on display in the Gold Crest Interactive Booth. Want to test your bird knowledge? Take the Wild Bird University online quiz and win prizes from Gold Crest Distributing!

Deroma: website
Will be using recyclable material for planting in large plants which promotes root growth.
Will be partnering with Shawn Nature Reserve and Wild Ones to create a rain garden, right on the exhibit hall floor.
