Once you land at St. Louis Lambert International Airport, here are some options for getting to AMERICA's Center.

Airport Shuttle

  • GO Best Express is the official shared ride shuttle company between the airport and downtown hotels. They have counters located in the baggage areas of both terminals.
  • Shared ride shuttles leave St. Louis Lambert International Airport approximately every 15 to 30 minutes between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and begin servicing routes to the airport at 4 a.m. Shuttles outside these hours and all return trips to the airport require reservations. Please check for availability.

  • Fare is currently $21 one way and $37 round trip.

Metrolink

  • The Metrolink light rail system is a very convenient and economical way to get from the Airport to downtown. There is a station in each of the two airport terminals and all trains departing the airport go downtown.
    • Terminal 1 - Upper Level Exit MT1 (follow Metrolink signs)
    • Terminal 2 (Southwest flights) - Accessible through the parking garage on all levels (follow Metrolink signs)
  • Trains operate Monday-Friday from 4:30am to midnight and Saturday -Sunday from 5:00am to 11:30pm, departing the airport approximately every 15-20 minutes.  For more info and schedules click here: http://www.metrostlouis.org/
  • The one-way fare from the Airport is currently $3.75 for a two-hour pass. All other one-way trips in the system are currently $2.25.
  • Travel time from the airport is approximately 30-35 minutes. The closest station to the convention center is the Convention Center Station at 6th & Washington.
  • The train is above ground until it gets to downtown, and then goes below ground.

Renting a Car and Driving from the St. Louis Lambert International Airport
  • Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty all have counters in the main terminal of the airport.
  • Follow signs to I-70 East. Take I-70 East 13 miles to Exit 249D (Downtown/Broadway). Exit on Broadway and continue south past the Edward Jones Dome (on the right). To get to the primary convention center parking garage turn right on Convention Plaza. To get to the main entrance of the convention center turn right on Washington to 8th street.
  • Total travel time 15-20 minutes.
